Part 2: 5-Day Quick Experience

Part 2 is a hands-on quick-experience chapter. Over 5 short days you work directly with real drawing fragments — no standards, no parameter tables, no memorisation. Each day gives you one small drawing, a few questions, and exactly one core concept to take away.

The goal is not to make you a draftsperson in 5 days. The goal is to let you feel what switchboard drafting actually is, so the deeper material in later parts has something to attach to.

The 5 Days

  1. Day 1: The Simplest Distribution Circuit (SLD) — Read a minimal single line diagram and understand what a switchboard fundamentally does.
  2. Day 2(coming soon)
  3. Day 3(coming soon)
  4. Day 4(coming soon)
  5. Day 5(coming soon)

How to Use This Part

Spend 15–30 minutes per day. Look at the drawing first, attempt every question before reading on, and don't worry about being wrong — guessing is part of the method.
